Port Jefferson Station Commercial Water Damage From Above

When commercial water damage affected this Port Jefferson Station property, SERVPRO techs sprang into action. When the water enters from above and saturates ceilings, it can lead to a dangerous situation where a piece of falling building materials could harm someone. The techs found preliminary cuts made in the ceiling upon arrival and used their detection equipment to determine the true scale of the cleanup needed. As seen in the After Photo, a larger area of the ceiling needed controlled demo removal along with most of the fiberglass insulation to get the water extracted and the damaged area dried. Fortunately, the techs were able to remove the ruined portions of the building materials without the need for the removal of the wiring around the studs.
